Meet Calvin Antonetty, a 10-year Navy servicemember with an unyielding dedication for service to country and lessening the suffering of other human beings. Calvin began his career in 2013 as a Hospital Corpsman, serving patients on behalf of the Navy and outside of the Navy around the US and internationally in Guam, Bahrain, and Haiti. In 2019, he received his bachelor’s in Medical Anthropology from the University of Miami and placed medical school on the backburner to commission as a Naval Officer and purse flight training as a Naval Aviator. After realizing his true calling lay in direct service to other human beings, Calvin transitioned into Naval Intelligence on a Reserve Contract, which allowed him to move back to South Florida and re-integrate into the healthcare sector. Today, Calvin satisfies his dedication to humanity and country by proudly serving patients and staff as a Practice Manager at Memorial Primary Care, and as an Intelligence Officer in the Navy Reserve.
