Speaker Bio - Linsley Hannah:
My name is Linsley Hannah, I am from Venezuela. My academic credentials encompass an Associate of Arts in Communications, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a Master of Science in Psychology. I am currently a Doctoral Student of Philosophy, specializing in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. I have provided social and mental health services as a Social Worker and Clinician to domestic and sexual assault survivors, refugee and foster families, gang affiliated youth, persons with disabilities, women veterans, LGBTQ+, homeless, geriatric and individuals experiencing serious mental illness for the past 16 years.
I am currently serving as Risk Management Coordinator at Henderson Behavioral Health within our Quality Management department where I have worked for the past 3 years. I monitor various organizational systems to ensure the safety of consumers and personnel by identifying, investigating, analyzing, and evaluating risks and selecting the most advantageous method of correcting, reducing, or eliminating those identified risks. I am also responsible for providing ongoing learning and development initiatives covering cultural competencies, regulatory compliance, behavioral safety management, enhanced customer service and mental health in the workplace. I strive to ensure both Client and Staff experience is respected through transparency, advocacy, mutuality, education, and empowerment
