Challenge Air Fly Day

Join Emerge Broward's Engage Committee for a fun day of giving back to children with Challenge Air Fly Day! During this event we will have the honor of guiding children with special needs and their families from the hanger to the plane. This will also include helping get the family into and out of the plane. We will be able to share in their joy as they get to experience being up close with a plane and its pilot and send them off on their own private flight!

Date: Saturday, January 27th, 2024

Time: 

Slot 1: 8:00 am- 12:00 pm 
Slot 2: 12:00 pm-4:00 pm
Slot 3: 8:00 am- 4:00 pm 

Please note this event runs from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm with 3 different time slots you can register for (8-12pm, 12-4pm or the whole day 8-4 pm) . Please indicate which time slot you will be attending when registering for the event.

Location: Banyan North-Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport 

1700 Northwest 62nd St Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 

Please wear comfortable closed toe shoes as a lot of walking is involved. Some food and snacks might be provided; however, please bring water and snacks as needed.

Parking is also limited so please plan accordingly (whether carpooling with fellow members and friends or taking an Uber/Lyft)
