This session is suitable for both individual contributors and those in managerial roles. About Your Speaker: 

Eduardo 'Eddie' Safille
Adjunct Professor of Law at NSU

Eduardo 'Eddie' Safille serves at the SVP of HR at Thermal Concepts, a PE-backed multistate HVAC company, with previous HR leadership roles at Arc Broward and the Florida Department of Health. Eddie has been teaching at the graduate level since 2016, including courses in labor relations, employment law, and business law.

After earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Eddie went on to get two law degrees – a JD from Washington and Lee University and an LLM from the University of Miami. He holds certifications in HR, Myers-Briggs, and Emotional Social Competency Inventory, as well as a certificate in strategic human resource management from Cornell. 

He volunteers for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), serves on the advisory board for Equine-Assisted Therapies of South Florida (after many years on the executive board), and was previously President of the HR Association of Broward County and Editor of the HR Florida Review for the HR Florida Council. Eddie is a practicing Roman Catholic and proud computer nerd. When not working or volunteering, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 6 children in and around Plantation, Florida.
