Whether it is speaking on a stage, presenting at work, filming a video for your YouTube channel, speaking in a webinar, or doing an Instagram Live, speaking to your audience with confidence is important.
So grab your drink of choice, unwind, and get ready to find your inner star presenter.
We will learn public speaking best practices to help us offline and in the new virtual work world. We will also have the chance to practice in small groups.

ABOUT PRADEEP VANGURI
Pradeep R. Vanguri is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Human Performance in the Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences and serves as the Program Director for the Athletic Training Program. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from East Carolina University (Greenville, NC) in Exercise Science and his Master of Science Degree in Education from North Carolina State University (Raleigh, NC). Upon completing his graduate work he served as Assistant Professor and Assistant Athletic Trainer in the Athletic Training Education Program at Barton College (Wilson, NC) in the Department of Physical Education and Sport Studies. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy Degree in the Department of Instructional Leadership at The University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa, AL) where he also served as graduate assistant in the undergraduate Athletic Training Education Program.
Having lived in the State of Florida for the past 15 years, Dr. Vanguri served the Athletic Trainers’ Association of Florida as the Education Committee Chair from 2007 to 2012, Secretary from 2018 to 2021 and currently he was elected to serve as Vice-President in 2021. Additionally, he served as Emerge Broward CONNECT Committee Co-Chair in 2009 to 2010, IDENTIFY Committee Co-Chair from 2010-2011, as well as participated in the Board Engagement Program in 2010. Currently, he has served as an Emerge Broward Board Member since 2019.
